Ono što si sada ti, ja sam jednom bio, ono što sam ja sada, ti ćeš jednom biti
Kvadrat kao filozofska kategorija sanjarenja, koji nam nameće mogućnost (poziva nas) da se stacioniramo ili nečemu što smeštamo u njega pronađemo mesto ili damo formu jeste jasan koncept materije, simbol integracije, smirenosti, sklada, ali u kombinaciji sa drugim elementima poseduje ekscentričnost. Kvadrat predstavlja projekciju unutrašnjosti ograđenog prostora koja obezbeđuje temelj za sve nematerijalne stvari. U kvadratu možemo videti simbol ograničenosti, a on je zapravo simbol sjedinjenja, njegove stranice mogu biti jasna asocijacija na osnovne strane sveta, četiri godišnja doba i, kao najvažnije za moj trenutni rad, četiri faze u životu svakog čoveka (rođenje, detinjstvo, odrastanje i smrt). Na unutrašnjem planu kroz takozvanu „zlatnu podelu“ vizuelnog polja (u ovom slučaju kvadrata) na podgeometrijske celine, manja polja, strogih linija i formi nastao je prostor koji negira figuru i izbacuje u prvi plan ekspresiju tretiranih površina.Druga dimenzija daje novi kvalitet opaženom kodu koji se interpretira nezavisno od značenja koje ima prva dimenzija.U okviru dvodimenzionalnog uočava se tendencija da je trougao iskorišćen kao nosliac informacije, a kvadrat kao element koji uspostavlja balans. Ako je po Gastonu Bašlaru slika proizvod čiste imaginacije, onda je kvadrat fioka koja služi da skladištimo i klasifikujemo saznanja. Ako slika prenosi informaciju, što je njena primarna svrha, a percepcija stvari je onakva kakvim se stvari reprezentuju onda slika prenosi onoliko jaku poruku kolika je njena vizuelna jačina. Kad bismo sliku pretovarili saznanjima kao što u fioku trpamo stvari došlo bi do zagušenja i slika bi izgubila sklad i smisao. U slučaju da se to dogodi naš kvadarat bi mogao se pretvori u kutiju prepunu đubreta. U kvadratu vlada red ili, bolje rečeno, red je u njemu izvestan. In the square we can see a symbol of limitation, and it is actually a symbol of unity, its pages can be a clear association with the basic sides of the world, four seasons and, as most important for my current work, four phases in every person's life (birth, childhood, growing up and death). On the inner plane, through the so-called "golden division" of the visual field (in this case squares) into subgeometric wholes, smaller fields, strict lines and forms, a space was created that denies the figure and brings to the fore the expression of treated surfaces. The second dimension gives a new quality to the perceived code that is interpreted independently of the meaning that the first dimension has. Within the two-dimensional, there is a tendency that the triangle is used as a carrier of information, and the square as an element that establishes balance. If, according to Gaston Bashlar, a painting is a product of pure imagination, then a square is a drawer that serves to store and classify knowledge. If the image conveys information, which is its primary purpose, and the perception of things is as things are represented, then the image conveys as strong a message as its visual strength. If we overload the picture with knowledge like we put things in a drawer, there would be congestion and the picture would lose its harmony and meaning. In case that happens, our square could turn into a box full of garbage. Order reigns in a square, or rather, order is known in it.
