Menada / Manead
Pomoću jarke crvene boje i ekscentičnih detalja u vidu pravog bilja i trnja koji prožimaju skulpturu iznutra i spolja, on sada postaje mesto preplitanja razuma i instikta odnosno kulture i prirode. Maenads were known in Greek mythology as insane women, wild and obsessed with the spirit of Dionysus. They are shown adorned with ivy, dressed in linen leather, and wearing a "tirs" long, braided with a vine, a stick with a cone on top and dancing. In a trance they wandered through the woods and hills. The portrait of the original Apollonian type, a lovely and aristocratic expression from the 19th century, now integrates the Dionysian dimension of Maenad. With the help of bright red color and eccentric details in the form of real plants and thorns that permeate the sculpture inside and out, it now becomes a place where reason and instinct, that is, culture and nature, intertwine.

Trn / Thorn
Many of us have found ourselves in a situation where, trying to reach for the rose flower, we stab ourselves on its thorn. It’s clear symbolism of the defense of beauty is the motive behind this work, where a monumental ceramic thorn is presented. The narrative of the thorn can be expanded even more. In the fairy tale of the “Sleepin Beauty”, the thorn represents a symbol that replaces the snake from the Bible. In that case, the Garden of Eden is the castle of the parents of the sleeping beauty, and the thorn is the entrance into the terrible, inevitable and unknown. Just like the serpent from the biblical story, the thorn has a key role in the maturing of the heroes.

Muve na trgu / Flies in the Square
"Flies in the Square" comes from a series of works dealing with memory, drowning organic matter in a transparent resin that looks like fossils found in amber, artist is taking on the role of geological forces. Some kind of corporeal photography was obtained, thus maximally extending the duration of organic matter. The new coexistence of organic and inorganic, hand-made and immediate, scientific and mythological is what interests me in these works.
