#RIP
Ambijentalna instalacija, kombinovani materijal, dimenzije varijabilne, 2017/ Ambient installation, combined technique, dimensions variable, 2017. Intencija koju sam imala u ovom radu jeste da problematizujem fenomen adaptacije pogrebnih običaja novoj platformi - virtuelnom prostoru./The work is made of five lightboxes with tin drawers with sand, water and lighted candles hooked beneath them. Projected images are snapshots of public profiles that I found on Facebook social network. Found profiles belong to the people that had passed away, but whose profiles have nonetheless remained active on that social network, updated and maintained by their closest ones. The intention I had was to problematize the phenomenon of adaptation of funerary customs to the new platform – virtual space. http://www.supervizuelna.com/nadezda-kircanski-rip-o-pamcenju-secanju-i-zaboravljanju/

Fredi Demajo
Miksmedij: epoksi smola, LED trake, foreks pena, 50x35cm, 2017/ Mixmedia: epoxy resin, LED strips, forex foam, 50x35cm, 2017. Nadgrobna ploča pripadala je četvorogodišnjem detetu iz Sefardske porodice koja je postojala u Beogradu tokom 19. i 20. veka./ The work is made by taking an imprint from a found gravestone. This gravestone I found was one of the stone blocks in the stone workshop of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, which had become a female torso afterwards. It belonged to a four-year old child born in 1906 from the known Sephardic family that was common in Belgrade during the 19th and the beginning of 20th century.
